Thrift Store Finds

I was happy to find these two items at my local thrift store this week. Both are reproductions, but still highly collectible.

This plate is marked as an authentic reproduction of the 3rd class dinnerware used on the Titanic. These are often scooped up quickly by the collector of Titanic memorabilia.

Here we have a Fiesta Ware bowl, manufactured sometime in the early 2000's. You can tell the approximate date by the color and the mold impression on the back. Although the "F" in Fiesta is lowercase, the circular logo indicates a recent manufacture.

When purchasing items, especially for resale, make sure you are aware of the authenticity of the piece in question. Always do your research and ALWAYS indicate the approximate age of any piece that has been reproduced.
