Vintage Souvenirs

I love to travel the US and I love collecting vintage souvenirs, especially from places I've visited. Mid 20th century souvenirs were better quality and much more decorative and useful than most of the junk sold in gift shops today. Some of the more popular souvenirs were mugs, steins, decorative plates, salt and pepper shaker sets. All these can be found in thrift shops for very reasonable prices, and they can be the basis for unique collections. Travel the US with collections of specific states or with various items from your favorite tourist destinations. Start a collection of unusual items no longer popular for sale today, such as paperweights, snow globes or banners and begin your personal vintage vacation.

Here are some of my favorites. To see a lot more, visit Souvenirs.
